Company Overview   

CAM Office Services is a woman owned company established in March of 1989. We are best known as specialists in the sale and distribution of quality-cost effective image consumable supplies for use in copier, facsimile, digital duplicator and electronic printer equipment. In order to provide full service to our customers, we also carry a full line of “Award Winning” facsimile and printer equipment. CAM successfully competes against superstores such as Office Depot, Office Max and Staples as well as large original equipment manufacturers like Canon, HP and Xerox.

We accomplish this by offering a wide variety of products. All makes, models and multiple brands. Even cost-effective alternative brands produced by well known manufacturers that private label for distinctive companies such as Danka, Ikon Office Solutions, Imagistics International and Xerox.

In Massachusetts, CAM was the first company to break new grounds by introducing alternate brand product into the state government bidding process. We have obtained thirteen statewide contracts for various types of imaging consumables and equipment-both OEM and alternate brands. The government bid process has provided us the opportunity to form Affirmative Market Partnerships with Canon U.S.A, Konica/Minolta, Muratec Americas, Oki Data Americas, Ricoh Corporation, Toshiba America Business Solutions and Xerox Corporation.

Overview

During the past fifteen years in business CAM has achieved broad recognition and the respect of our industry peer group. As a diversity company specializing in the sale of imaging supplies and equipment, in order to meet the requirements of the Commonwealth’s Executive Order 390, CAM has been heavily sought after by large original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) to partner in their affirmative market programs. Each OEM goes through a rigorous selection process prior to establishing these partnerships. Only choice companies having financial stability and the proven record of providing exceptional customer service are chosen.

Each partner listed below has provided CAM with OEM Authorization to solicit, distribute and directbill the product lines listed below in a mutually agreed upon territory. Because of our diversity classifications, CAM has built our business on customer relationships in the Massachusetts government sector. The demographic of CAM’s customer base in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are as follows:

State Agencies
CAM maintains business relationships in ninety-eight percent of all Commonwealth agencies. Including but not limited to the:

• Office of Governor Deval Patrick
• Office of the Attorney General
• Office of the Comptroller
• Office of the Inspector General
• Office of the Treasurer
• Office of the Secretary of State

Commonwealth Judicial System
CAM maintains business relationships in sixty-five percent of various divisions of the Massachusetts judicial court system.

Public School Sector
CAM maintains business relationships in over 200 plus Massachusetts public school systems including all major cities and towns.

Massachusetts Colleges & Universities
CAM maintains business relationships in twenty percent of Massachusetts higher education schools.

Massachusetts Not for Profit Organizations
CAM is starting to make inroads in developing relationships with not for profit accounts holding contracts with the Commonwealth. We have long term relationships with Community Care Services and The May Institute and will continue to grow our market share in these organizations.
